So much can happen in one week!

1.  Current social isolation: Measures extended for another 3 weeks and some element of this looks like it will be in place for many months to come.

2.  Testing for staff: Various staff have been able to be tested, but staff without cars are not able to access this at the moment.  This has been escalated within local health systems, councils and nationally as another pathway needs to be in place.  Feedback from Glasgow Council yesterday was positive and they are hoping to have alternative solutions in place very soon.  As soon as we hear anything, we’ll ensure you are all aware.

3. PPE: Ongoing work to ensure the right PPE in the right place at the right time.  Staff being fitted with special masks and long sleeved gowns for ventilated individual.  Sanitiser available again via Gompels

4. Company Shopping Group: I advised we had applied to become members of www.companyshopgroup.co.uk.  They have contacted me to advise that they have extended the types of organisations allowed to become members.  We will sign up for this ASAP.  This will allow staff to purchase food and toiletries at much lower prices.  Their shop is - Company Shop, Unit 12, Renfrew Trading Estate, Argyll Avenue, PA4 9EN 01418 867 936.
